-
What do you need to bring for lessons? You will need to bring a windows or mac laptop together with a mouse (w/ scroll wheel). You may download and use the SketchUp Pro trial software that is free for 7* days.
-
Which SketchUp version are we using? We are using the desktop version of the SketchUp Pro software. The software works on both Windows or Mac desktop. I will normally suggest that students start with the trial version of SketchUp Pro when they take our classes and progress to the paid version later on. You may click on this link to download the trial or purchase your software directly. If you like to try SketchUp before the course, then I will recommend that you try the free web version before using the SketchUp Pro.
-
Where are the classes held?Classes may be held at Lifelong Learning Institute, Tai Seng Center, The Adelphi on Coleman street or at Air View Building on Maxwell road. Usually there's parking in the building and it's also about a 3-5 minutes walk from the nearest MRT station. Location choice is subject to availability and will be confirmed closer to the date via email.
-
Can I claim SkillFutures? We currently do not have this facility. All Skillfutures courses will need to meet a certain course length requirement and this means that we will have to artificially lengthen our course in order to be compliant. We think this will hurt our mission of providing quality education that meets our learner's objectives. We will also have to double our course fees to increase profitability, since we will have to incur various costs like administrative charges.
-
Do you sell SketchUp Pro software? No we don't. To us, SketchUp is only a tool. Like a hammer or a measuring tape. We are designers and we use the best, quickest and value for money tool available to do our job. Should there be a better tool out there tomorrow, we will be amongst the first to introduce them to you.
